When You Feel Lonely

When a person you love passes away,
look to the night sky on a clear day.
The star that to you, appears to be
bright, will be your loved one,
looking upon you during the night.
The lights of heaven are what shows
through, as your loved one watches
all that you do. When you feel lonely
for the one that you love, look to the
heavens in the night sky above.

I Did Not Die

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow;
I am the diamond glints on the snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain;
I am the gentle autumn’s rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s

I Thought of You Today

I thought of you with love today
But that is nothing new
I thought about you yesterday
And days before that too,
I think of you in silence
I often speak your name
All I have are memories
And your picture in a frame
Your memory is my keepsake

God has you in His keeping

I Heard your Voice

I heard your voice in the wind today
and I turned to see your face; The
warmth of the wind caressed me as
I stood silently in place. I felt your
touch in the sun today as its warmth
filled the sky; I closed my eyes for
your embrace and my spirit soared
high. I saw your eyes in the window
pane as I watched the falling rain; It
seemed as each raindrop fell it quietly
said your name. I held you close in my
heart today it made me feel complete;
You may have died…but you are not
gone you will always be a part of me.
As long as the sun shines… the wind
blows… the rain falls…

A Million Times

You never said I’m leaving

You were gone before I knew it

I’m Going To Tell You Something

I’m going to tell you something,
I hope you’ll never have to know.
Ill tell you how a heart can break and
tears can constant flow. I lost my
baby girl you see an angel in my eyes
The lord reached right down, took her
hand and led her to the skies. Please
don’t ever tell me, that time will heal
my pain because not even time, will
bring her back again. Please do not
forget my child, she was a person too,
forever she will live, inside of me
and you. Just tell me that’s she’s
happy, in that land way up above,
she’s snuggled in an angels wings
wrapped in mummy & daddy’s love.

God Looked Around His Garden

God looked around his garden
And found an empty place,
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb.
So he closed your weary eyelids
And whispered, ‘Peace be thine’.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn’t go alone,

Reflections

Prayer of Cardinal Newman 

May the Lord support us all the day long,
Till the shades lengthen and the evening comes,
and the busy world is hushed, and the fever of life is over,
and our work is done.
Then in his mercy may he give us a safe lodging,
and holy rest, and peace at the last.

Amen.

May all God’s blessings descend upon you,

We Hold You Close
We hold you close within our hearts,

So rest in peace dear loved one,
And thanks for all you’ve done,
We pray that God has given you,
The crown you’ve truly won.

We Give Our Loved Ones Back To God

We give our loved one back to God
And just as God first gave them to us
And did not lose them in the giving,
So we have not lost them in returning them to God.
For life is eternal, and love is immortal,
And death is only a horizon, and a horizon is nothing
Save the limit of our sight.
